While our CEO was in law school, she was in a domestic violence relationship. She was fortunate to get out of it alive—but that experience permanently shaped how she viewed advocacy, safety, and the importance of awareness.

 

Like many survivors, She did not immediately recognize the danger she was in, and leaving was neither simple nor quick.

This personal experience is why the mission of the Gabby Petito Foundation resonates so deeply with me. Domestic violence affects people from every background, often silently and invisibly. By supporting efforts focused on education, prevention, and survivor advocacy, I hope to help amplify awareness and contribute—however modestly—to a future where fewer people have to endure what so many survivors have faced.
